Release Schedule for the Fall

So while this summer was fairly quiet on the things-published-by-me front, this fall will see a bunch of book releases. The tone is also going to be a little different this autumn. All the rest of the books I have planned to come out in 2013 all have dark tones and deal with more serious subject matter than is my usual.

August:
It has technically already happened but on August 14th Your Happy End came out from Less Than Three Press.

By day Jun is co-owner of a comic book shop. By night, he provides the high tech gear used by superhero team Ghost Hawk and The Spider. Cooper is the computer genius and information specialist behind the vigilante known as The Shadow Avenger.

Attraction and a love of graphic novels make for a good start, but if they want to last Jun and Cooper will have to overcome secrets, danger, Cooper's past and Jun's firm belief that people in the superhero business don't get happy endings.

September:

Vasilios Eleni has learned to make the best of life as a eunuch and valued slave in the household of a wealthy silk merchant. When he begins having dreams of a demon who steals away children and eats them alive, Vasilios's well-ordered life begins to unravel. General Markos Ă–zdemir has been ordered by the Emperor to investigate the kidnapping and murder of children from the capital, but he’s become frustrated with lack of progress. When he learns of Vasilios’s dreams he begins to suspect they are the key to tracking down the demon.

Vasilios and Markos work together, and soon the attraction between them flares, leading to deeper attachment. Vasilios admits to his feelings for Markos, but knows they must first find a way to exorcise the child eating demon. Their quest takes them into to desert to seek out mystics and a half-man, half-serpent monk, as well as heretics, ex-concubines, and angels. The mission remains unsolved when Vasilios is trapped in the household of a cruel man. Things go from bad to worse for Vasilios, and getting back to freedom and the new love he has with Markos could cost him his life.

October:
The Memory of Blood and Lotuses comes out October 30th, from Less Than Three Press. It will be out right before Halloween, and avalible as an ebook and a paperback since it's a proper novel length thing.
Thousands of years ago Neferhotep was struck with a curse that turned him into a shroud eater, one who lives with the dead and devours the living. Fleeing to the desert, he preys upon the unsuspecting travelers who wander too close. Then one of them turns out to be seeking him in order to save a Pharoah. Neferhotep is intrigued enough to agree to go with him, returning to civilization he has not seen in centuries ...

November:
In November Selume Proferre comes out on the 6th from Less Than Three Press.

An-An Li-Johnson lives an easy-going, quiet life. She works part time at her friend's bookstore, is active in the local LGBTQ scene, manages to avoid the occasional crazy ex, and also does some temp work for the big name spell-craft firm Simon and Davidson.

Then she's hired to work with an up and coming exorcist at Simon and Davidson, M.C. Andersen. At first An-An doesn't know what to make of her ambitious and prickly new boss. M.C. is deeply involved in the world of high stakes spell-craft, determined to carve out a place for herself among the extremely hierarchical and old fashioned world of professional exorcists. Although she can be demanding and abrasive at times M.C. treats An-An with respect, despite An-An position as an inscriber without any aptitude for spell casting. As they work together on a high stakes case of demonic possession, An-An finds herself becoming more and more attracted to M.C. Just as their relationship looks like it might be deepening into something more though, the case suddenly takes a turn for the worse.
Much, much worse.

December: is right now free of releases but I'm trying to pull something together for the Holidays which I will release as a free short if it gets done.

For 2014:
Right now I have Song of the Spring Moon Waning which will be coming out January 15th from Less Than Three. I will be sharing more about this lovely book as it gets closer to January.

I also have another equally lovely story A Matter of Disagreement which has been accepted by LT3 is an enemies to lovers story with a kind of steampunk/Regency feeling to it and will probably come out early 2014.
